Vette(s): 1974 Red Metallic convertible, 350, 4-speed.
I'm slowly converting my 74 convertible to a track-only car. With the addition of a racing seat on the driver's side, it became very difficult to climb out of the car even with the top off. (My 65-year-old body doesn't help any either.)

I added an NRG removable steering wheel and that helps a lot. But even with their short-hub kit, the steering wheel is too close to me. The telescope piece is locked into position as short as it will go.

My question is: Is there a shorter steering column, maybe a non-tilt/non-telescope version, that will put the steering wheel closer to the dash?

Thanks,

George Lehmann

Thanks, I'll give them a call.
Quite a collection of C3s you have there. Your red/black 73 looks almost like mine!
Cheers,
George
