I`VE BEEN WANTING THAT SYSTEM FOR AWHILE , IT IS THE ONLY THING LEFT I NEED TO DO MECHANICALLY, I HAVE A PERSONAL WATERCRAFT THAT I`M TRYING TO SELL. IF IT GOES , I CAN SWING THIS. HOWEVER, I DON`T WANT TO HANG ANYONE UP. IF YOU GET THE 4TH PERSON  AND WANT  TO PLACE THE ORDER, MAYBE I CAN GET IN ON THE NEXT ONE.

What exactly does this do to your front end?  Is there something wrong with just keeping it like GM built it?  I'm not trying to be a smart butt, I'm just courious about what all the "Woopee, got to have it" is about???Confused greypoupon692008-05-08 19:15:48

I would like to know that too Micki.
I am getting real tired of changing out a leaky control valve every few season, sometimes twice.

Well guy's let me see if I can splane it ta ya. The rack & Pinion will improve the response of the car, if you like the steering in your C5 Miki then you will like this. It is an upgrade to the 20 century tech. It will replace the control valve which always leaks, does away with the heavy steering gear box and is a bolt in with no mods to be done. This is the last bit of modern tech that will go under my car, I have the fiberglass mono leaf in the front and rear of my car. Did away with the heavy coil springs and the steel in the rear. I get a great ride that is smooth and very easy to adjust. GM didnt always build it right the first time. Hope this helps you understand a little better, oh yea one more thing, those curvy mountain roads you drove on will feel like they are nice and straight. Thumbs%20Upfp_vetter722008-05-08 19:39:15

Forgot one other detail, it can all go back to original anytime you want to undo all the work. I still have all my original parts for the car and have made no mods that cant be reversed. fp_vetter722008-05-08 19:45:24

It looks like we have a quorum!  We are offering this to our retail customers for $1,100 plus $50.00 shipping, and have given them until next Wednesday to order.

To order yours, please call, PM or e-mail me.  I need to know whether you want power steering or manual.  Then I just need a shipping address, a phone number in case we have a question, and a credit card number.  We take Visa, MC, and Discover.

We will place the order next Wednesday, and they will be drop shipped direct to you.

Thanks
Larry

Be aware that the R&P set-ups may have some interference with some brand/types of headers, if ya'll have them...may wind up doing a little tweaking to the tubes to clear the u-joints for the steering shaft.
Just a little heads up...

I have stock headers, no problem there. Thanks for the tip, may be putting side pipes on later down the road and I will address the issue first.

Thanks Joel

Soooo... how many are ordering this steering upgrade? Looks like over the minimum number for the reduced price. Possibly a larger order could reduce the price further???  I'm still sitting on the fence, but a lower price might get me off it.  Never know what you can get iff'n ya don't ax. Wink
