Hi everyone!
The bushing is pushing out of my passenger rear strut rod at the pumpkin end. 
I was thinking of replacing them both with VBP HD adjustable rods with the heim joints at both ends. Has anyone had any experience with this type of setup? Any pros/cons?

They work, just make sure they are tight. I never used them on a street car. My son's drag car has them but I also built him a complete 12 bolt conversion. My street cars use the stock rods, If they are not bent I would just install new bushings and be done with it.

Well, this is the second time the bushing pushed out. I decided to go with the heim joints on the camber adjusting end and poly bushing on the shock bolt end. its a setup from VBP. I only have about 2500 miles on the old bushing. doesnt make sense that they go out that quick.

Something is wrong in the suspension if they go bad that quick. New strut rods are not going to fix it. You need to find out the problem and address it. you have a adjustment that is out of wack and creating stress somewhere.

I thought of that too. could be a trailing arm bushing going bad possibly.
I figured the rotation in the heim joint would take up some of that eccentricity on the strut rod.

I agree, if one bushing is dry rotted chances are the other are too. Rod bushings should not wear out that quick- unless they are not quality bushings.
