I was wondering about going with a wider tire wheel setup, without doing any modifications or creaying any claerance issues.Or going back to the stock rally look(is there a larger footprint for these?)What about 16" wheels and what they might look like? |headscratch| |toungecool|

Vette(s): 1979 Black on Black, heavily modified. 1975 Orange, bone stock (for now).
You can go as big as 20" all around, widest tyres I've seen tucked under a sock bodied C3 is 305! These requires custom backspacing and offset trailing arms. You can fit 295 on the 8" stock wheels and make them work, by just relocating the parking brake cable from side of the TA to top of it. You can get ralleys up to 18" diameter. |cheers|

How bout w/o relocation..on 15's or 16's.I saw a set on an '80 Vette at the Vette Show I entered this weekend(got a 3rd place trophy by the way,for C3 class),that had 15x8 with 265's I think. |confusing|
