I'm working with Viking Performance to create a new US made coil over shock offering for the C3. Hey this is what happens when I buy a new toy and cannot find the parts I want to use. So, they told me that their existing GM coil over conversion springs would not fit the C3 spring pocket. Other than me yanking one out and sending it to them, can anyone elaborate what may be different about these springs/pockets vs. lets say an A body Chevelle, X body Nova or F body Camaro spring? I have all of those. We will probably just end up ordering a set of OE replacement springs to examine. Its 18 out and I don't feel like popping ball joints when I can't feel my hands.
Thanks,
Dave

My Christmas present to ME! Bought Sat 11-30-2013. 72, 350 4 spd, Silver with blue interior...Can't you just hear Pablo Cruz playing in the background?

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
You may not find anyone that can help with what you are asking but This will push it back up to the top for another day.
