I once was reading and article awhile back (forgot where) about swapping out the original C3 blower motor/fan assembly for a C4 unit. Supposedly it increases the air flow volume greatly. They said it makes difference in keeping you cooler in the car during the really hot weather.
Has anybody done this or know what part #'s to use, and whats involved in doing this? Thanks in advance for any help.

Here is a link on going through a heat-A/C box rebuild. In it is information on up grading the blower. See if this helps

That link was a big help. I will have to try out an '84 fan. Making a spacer should be no problem.
