Apparently, before I bought this car, someone jimmied the ignition lock to steal the car when the original owner was having dinner or something.  They also broke open the glove compartment.  I want to replace the the liner and latch, I have the door and lock and latch, but I am not sure what all I need besides the liner and striker.  My manuals do not show anything.  Can someone post a clear picture of the striker assembly or a good mechanical drawing of this?

I have the assembly drawing for my 82 I'm sure that it is the same.  I just have to figure out how to post the pdf of them for you.

The way I did this seems to be a little clumsy.  Is there a better way.  Of course I do not know if this even works until I post it.Beer

This is also true of uploading anything directly into a post, using the image button.
It looks like the jpegs you posted will get him the help he needs.
