BE very careful, and take your time. If you have the factory(GM) service manual, follow the procedure in it. Power window regulators are under spring tension, so you have to make sure the regulator is "pinned" before removing the motor.

Did this on my 79 a couple of years ago.
You definitely want a spare set of hands if someone is available. The glass becomes difficult to keep out of the way and protect once you get everything disconnected...
All of the innards will come out of the bottom access hole that has the screwed on cover. Just takes a lot of fennagling...
While you're at it, replace all of the rollers. They're cheap, easy to replace and will restore smooth operation of the unit.

Good luck,
Paul

Thanks for the help. I got it out and back in and actually wasn't as daunting as I thought. The only problem was that it was stuck in the up position so I has to take the motor off before pulling everything out. No worries though, I got it back together and it works great. I also put a new door handle on with the help from the "how-to" section on CorvetteFever's website.
