I have removed the center gauge cluster from my 1982 and while I have it out, I thought I'd replace all the light bulbs.  Can someone tell me what the correct voltage and wattage would be for the replacements.  I can't read anything on the old bulbs.

Check out "Lectric Limited", they have all the replacement bulbs and fuses and stuff for our cars. I bought a package that had every bulb and fuse for my 72.

You can order a complete set of bulbs for your vette from Mike Yager at MidAmerica MotorWorks.  The kit includs all bulbs, taillights, marker lights, dash lights.  Good Price.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.

http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/ is a link that you can get the correct light number for any of the lights on your car. (including all C3 any year).  By the way you are looking for 194LL (LL) is just long life or you can use 194 also or a 161.  The difference is the 194 are 14Volt 3.8Watts and the 161 are 14 Volt 2.7Watts.

I purchase mine at http://www.memotronics.com/ because he sends them via mail and only charges you what it cost not a flat rate which if all you are purchasing are lights would normally be more than the cost of what you purchased.
  191 bulbs are $0.23 each

By the way join the registry when your trial runs out you will never regret it.  I started out like you are doing asking for help and it is a great place to be.

If you are on the east coast there are a lot of good guys to meet and the north west is not bad either.  Now if you are like me in the South West there are not a lot of us but we are getting more all of the time.

That is exactly what I thought is Sep 2007 when I first came on the forum.  It is why I joined in Oct 2007.  It took me about two years to get my vette running and smogged.  It is not finished and I have issues that I will need help but I know that someone on this site has had the same problem I'm having and will help me.

Yeah, this forum is the best out there!!Heart

I installed blue LED bulbs in my center and dash and they work very well. Be careful during removal/installation of the bulbs as the 27 year old circuit board is VERY fragile!
Thumbs Up
