Hi Folks,
Anyone have (or know the best place to look for) a good schematic for the horn assembly for an '82 model? I had to remove the horn parts on my steering column for a prior job and I don't think I got everything back as I should because now the horn doesn't work.
All the manuals I have are very weak regarding pictures and/or directions for how all the parts fit together.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Jeff

Does
This
help any at all? All of horn button set-ups on the tilt/tele columns
are basically the same, so the year doesn't really make a lot of
difference.
Someone else may have a better diagram...

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
How about explaining it to me also or providing a location that we can go and get the informaiton.
By the way when it gets a little warmer (in the 70's So Cal people are cold below that) I will be taking my horn apart to fix it and can provide pictures of that operation.
