Here's pretty much the front finished. Some of the seams I may use some duct tape or reflective/thermal tape- but that's it.

I haven't done any of the back. My carpet is fine for now there, so I'll leave well enough alone.
There are 3 sheets left of the 8 in the kit. The 8 big sheets are huge- you'll never use it all at once. Cut it in half and start small, then overlap. Any scraps I kept. Trust me, you'll use every bit of those pieces- then i would recover them in layers, if need be.
I used a small razor knife, a pair of scissors, and a roller I bought large from home depot for $13- couldn't find a small, cheap wooden roller (even at walmart) but this worked good. I also used the butt of the scissors (that wrap over your fingers) in tight places, too, to put pressure on it to stick down.
Sometimes I used some alcohol to swipe the area if it was full of dust or old underlayment.
My hands are sore, and me knees, too. Make sure you get an old couch pillow or something to kneel on. It took me at least 8 hours for this, with a few more things to finish up.

I also did under the console, too. I just didn't want to completely take out the back part with the power windows switches/wires on them.
I got much of my console resto stuff from Zip- they were the cheapest by far.
Thats what I want to do to mine when I do the inside! Yours looks good!

Typing... my fingers are still sore. Speaking of cuts- only a few. You really don't need gloves, though it still can slice you- more like a large paper cut.
Rolling that tool is what gets your fingers tired. Tonight I'll post my topl plate console. Just put on the wood inlay. Looks nice.
I spent another 45 minutes on just the passenger side, taping the seams.

Yes, it's extra insurance and the Eastwood's instructions don't say to do it. But, for one, it doesn't leave any sharp edges (covering them with reflective/aluminum tape). That makes sure the carpet doesn't get torn or start being cut from underneath.
Two, you can sit on the floor and not get cut.

More on the console...
I had to admit it, but I'm almost wishing I would have just bought the new parts. Yes, it's over-the-top expensive. But I'm running into problems sanding of the chrome strips- without touching the new black paint. Very tedious.
Installed the woodgrain kit- looks good, but it won't stick 100%- just like my factory one. I made up some clamps and used pencils to put pressure down, hope this doesn't peel up in the future.

I can't believe it already October- I'm still working on the interior.
I do have the underlayment/thermal barrier combo down.
Carpet is in with seat belts in place and 4 seat track bolts in, too.
Heater core assembly is in. Console is almost done.
By the time I will have this done, it's storage time. :(
Jeah, but just think, you'll have it all ready for next year (unless something else breaks, it never ends)!

Can anyone see the pics posted here? I see an invalid URL notice. They are TOOOOOOO large...need to be resized or a link inserted instead.
