MY assembly manual Shows 4 corner bolts holding seat assembly to floor 3 are accessible. But the rear inner ( next to drive train tunnel ) seems inaccessible with a socket or wrench. End of slide track rail blocks getting a socket or wrench on it. Any suggestions . I thought of cutting the corner of othe track rail but that's a bubba Thanks Big Al

Silly question, but have. You tried to move the seat forward on the tracks to reach the last bolt?

YES , I moved it all the way forward . THE bottom rail on which the seat slides remains stationary , but the end of the channel physically prevents getting a socket or wrench on the bolt head. Big Al

Sounds like maybe the rail is broke, slide the seat all the way forward and it should look just like the other rail, if not the upper portion of the rail didnt go forward and you should be able to move it seperatly. You may have to reach up under the seat to undo the latch by  hand.

Thanks for the tip. Rail and track definetly stuckkkkkkk. Couldn't budge it at all . So bubba arrived and used a small drill bit to remove the blocking corner of the track. NOw I was able to get a socket on the head. BUT the backing plate under the floor was spinning so the bolt wouldn't come loose. Long story short, I was able to free the bolt and seat is removed All in one piece with only minor track removal. A little filling, some paint and only I will know that bubba was here. quess there is a little bubba in alllllll of us. Big AL

I have the same problem on a 71.

Havenot replaced the seat yet. I was thinking of just tightening it place . Any ideas ?? Big Al
