Got my Leather over new Foam seats in for the 80. Just ordered the Carpet, Interior screw set, a couple cans of the claret dye and new lenses for the center console. Heading out for the insulation and some 3M glue from the Home Depot. So hopefully next weekend I'll be able to start pulling the old out and replacing it. Anything anyone thinks of that I'm missing from my parts inventory, or hints and tips would be appreciated

Mike,

I did my carpet a couple of years ago and it wasn't as bad as I was told it would be. I used a material I got at Home Depot (Pines Blvd and Flamingo) used in attics to reflect heat. It came in a roll...a shiny side and a dull one. I lined the floorboards with it then laid the new carpet on it. I think it makes a difference in cutting down cockpit heat (still hot in there, though). Another tip I highly recommend, lay the carpet sections out in the sun for about an hour or so. They mold around corners much easier. Oh!....lots of patience and beer, too. Good luck and take your time.

I don't know what trim you plan on dyeing or what shape it's in.  I dyed my dash, seats and all the trim pcs except the doors and went thru 4 cans.  I have 1 can left for the doors.  I have a 79 with dark blue interior.  I am surprised at how nice everything came out.  the carpeting is next but it's been too cold to tackle it yet.  I'm going to be in south Ga for Easter.  maybe I should drive it down there and finish it up.
