I just ordered a pair for my 82CE.I heard they were the best.Anybody have these?I don't really need them yet but by the time I do I guess the price will have gone up quite a bit. Also how is their carpet?I don't want it if it's ACC. zgator38460.5975

All of the Al Knoch stuff is the best you will find anywhere for quality and fit. I had them install new leather seat covers and foam in my 75 last year at the Bloomington Gold show, they look awesome!

I installed the Al Knoch seat covers on my 77, and the quality is the best.

You'll be happy about your purchase.

As the other posters have commented... "Ya Got the Good Stuff"

Depending on how much you drive the car  I would be on the lookout for
a good price on foam in advance also... no matter how good the covers are they will NOT FIT well on old "compacted" foam...

Thank you.I did feel they were the best but have heard others talk about wilcox. My car only has 38,000 miles and the foam is perfect right now but I think I'll take your advice on the foam.

BTW:  Wilcox is a Regular Chevy dealer... I have used them in the past and have been extremely happy...They I believe act as a middle man you order thru them then order from their suppliers and have the merchandise dropped shipped  directly to you...Major advantage is you save...The door panels I got were from auto acc of America...@ 25 % less then auto  acc of America quoted me...

BUT who knows (at least without asking) who Wilcox picks up the phone and orders from....

Enjoy

I'm trying to stay away from ACC.I've ordered carpet from them twice before.Once for carpet for and 69Z/28(It faded real fast on the trans hump between the front and rear seats)in less than a year. The second was a for my 71Z/28 and had it fade in pretty much the same place. Both cars are show cars and are not left out in the sun(go figure). The fit was great though. This is why I am asking about Al's carpet.Want to know is it's ACC to.I don't think it is.zgator38460.5954050926

I do believe that all makes all of his own carpet. Either way I got my carpet and door panels from Al just because of his reputation. No problems here at all. I also just picked a new "Stayfast" soft top that I need to install.

What great timing!  A discussion about seats and carpet just as I am getting ready to re-do mine.  I checked several sites (Mid-America, Corvette America, Ecklers, Willcox) and Al Knoch seems to be very competetive on pricing and if you guys say the quality is excellent then I guess he will get my business.  I will order the seat covers already mounted on new foam and the complete carpet set.  I have neither the time nor the know-how to do the work myself but found an experienced interior guy who will charge me $150 labor.  Total price should be under $1200.  Sound reasonable?
