Hello

I am currently installing a new carpet and encountered 2 little issues.

Looking at the picture below,

1) The dome light housing; are the 2 screws supposed to go into a U-clip ? (as pictured) I bagged and tagged most everything when I took my interior out, but that was 3 or 4 years ago, so my memory is iffy now.  I can't seem to find any picture online.  The retailers all have a kit, but I didn't find it for a 74.

2) The carpet plugs (3 of them) all broke when I took the old carpet out.  I found some at the local generic parts store, but they seem a bit short with the extra padding of the new carpet.  Looking for opinions here; remove more padding or try to find longer push pins to hold the "T" in place?

Thanks!

Page 163 in the Paragon catalog, looks like '74 has a plate rivited to the back wall with I guess threaded holes in it for the bezel mounting screws.

OMG I forgot how valuable the catalogs where for their illustrations. Thanks for pointing it out. I have the riveted plate, but couldn't find the screws for it. It's a tad smaller than most interior screws. I guess I'll have to go throughout my bags again. The plate is very thin too, the hole didn't look threaded, but I'll double check.
