I need a picture from the driver's seat facing rear looking at the right lower corner of the inside window frame where it meets the side panel. I need to know if it is a clean fit or are there spaces that you could stick your finger in? Does anybody understand what I need to see?My guess that any T-Top coupe could look and see what I mean..I Hope? I went to look at some car lots but could not find any, only C-5's for sale?..Thanks..Terry

Terry,

I would take a picture but my batteries are dead. I can get my finger between the rear window trim and the side panel on the driver side. Hope this is what you are looking for. Its the same on the passenger side as well.

Terry, there WILL be gaps around the trim on the back glass. It looks like crap, but that's the way they were. Some were better than others, and there can be more gap on one side than the other. You can see a large gap on the pass. side on my '74, but a smaller one on the driver side. It's still not a perfect fit. I can see bare fiberglass on mine thru the gaps. Hope that makes yer day!! I can take a pic. tommorrow eve. if you want...

No No.. Ya all convinced me that's the way it is? I just don't remember that flaw? I think I would have remembered since I have  had 3 T-Tops? I know, "I was always looking the other way".. The shop installed the back window today after buffing the back, poor guy, when I saw that I gave him a speech about how much money I have spent here to keep his shop going all winter and so on..I guess I owe him an apology....Thanks all..

O 'Dear yes that's the one..Your window comes out right? That looks better than mine, mine has a cheap plastic inner window frame the same color as the inside, Buckskin, but it does not completely cover the space from the left side panel to the right side panel. O' well, build such an advanced automobile for it's time and skimp on some plastic? I'll never understand.. Thanks Micki, Glen and Joel..Your the best

Yeah Terry, the back window comes out on the '69. There is a gap there, but I bet all of them do. The "Foo-Paws" on the vette's are what makes them so special!    I your car - green is my favorite color!!

O' mercy Joel,  I thought I had it bad.. I don't feel so bad now, Your passenger side, you could drive a small truck through there with the doors open and not touch the sides?....I was thinking of having my wife make me some curtains for mine..O'well never noticed before, now it will be on my mine every time I get in..Shucks..
