I was at Carlisle Pennsylvania last year and order a set of C-5 seats from Corvette Originals from Douglasville Ga. for my 71 Corvette to be picked this year. They were not at the show this year, the phone number has been disconnected. I'm trying find out if anyone knows what happened to them.

I TRIED GOOGLING them , they are not accredited by the better business bureau, previous reviews back in 09, 08 call him a "rip off artist" always with an excuse of we're the parts aren't. I know this dose not help you . Maybe the local POLICE can be of assistance . Just my 2 cents. Hope you didn't lose any money. Will C5 seats work in a 71? Big Al

There's a guy that comes to our Wednesday night get together with a 69 with C5 seats in it.  He said it took a lot of work to make them fit.

Check with Marshall (manget1) - he installed C5 seats in his '75 droptop.

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
Sorry to hear about this (sounds like you got ripped off). I watched eBay for quite some time and found good seats at a decent price. I removed the C5 seat tracks (then re-sold them on eBay!). I then bought an extra set of C3 seat tracks to install. I had to tap a set of holes in the base of the C5 seats, but once I did, it was really simple! I am not the most mechanically inclined and I did it all myself. One of these days, I'll post some pix on the installation. They've been in well over a year now with no issues

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Vette(s): 1974 L-48 Auto. Just your basic Vette. GM crate motor w/vortec heads and intake. Crane cam. Scorpion rockers, Edelbrock carb. Lots of parts still in boxes... :(
Did you pay with a credit card?  You may be able to get your money back if the vendor ripped you off.  I got taken for $1500 for a Vintage Air system for my car several years ago.  Guy took the money, then left me and about ten others high and dry.  My VISA platinum card reimbursed me 100% for the money I lost.

Best of luck to you, and I hope you see your seats or at least get the money back.
