Changing the carpet and the forward edge of the rear compartment carpet is not bound and looks unfinished. Cannot find any picts or parts online that show how this edge is supposed to be dressed. I am talking about the front edge of the carpet where it follows up along the edge of the door opening and into the pillar between the door glass and the rear glass. Is there supposed to be a piece of trim here? Appreciate any help you can give me.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
I will check tomorrow and take some pictures for you. You 80 and my 82 should be the same and mine is original.

Thanks Gilbert. Mine was a trashed out piece of junk when I got it and did a frame off on it. Now just trying to finish the project by getting to the little odds and ends.
