Well i just finished puting in a new dash assembly on the 80. What a PIA that was. While I had it appart I went ahead and replaced the front speakers. they were real bad I guess 20 years of use really put a hurting on them. I try to post some pic of the speakers later.

I'm with you on the dash asmbly!! It took a day for each side. Just to install those 3 screws. After getting the drivers side in discovered I knocked the tach light out. Don't have the nerve to take it out again yet to fix it. |ick|

At some point, I'm gonna replace my dash too.
The dash is cracked, which has made the speaker openings too wide, and the stupid covers don't fit right now, so the rattle! |grrr|

I wish i had a two piece dash, Mine is a 1 piece. Just tring to get it adjusted was a two day job. Also had to dril new holes for the screws to attach everything. |eek| I'm glad i only have to do this once.

That does sound harder to adjust but at least you get a real glove box with yours. |laugh|
