Vette(s): 1979, Targa Blue (72 Color), Pace Car rear spoiler, L88 hood, Dark blue factory interior, 525HP 406, HD 700R4, 370 gears,Steeroids, composite rear spring, TT IIs wrapped in T/A Radials.

Has anyone used either the Coverlay which is basically just the top section of the whole dash shell - sold for under $50

or

One of the caps that covers the entire dash like the one sol by MidAmerica for $100?

Pros, Cons?

Any thoughts are appreciated!!

Thanks as usual VetteFans!!

I haven't used one, but I have seen a few. They just stick on over the top of your dash. Similar to the "Patch panels" for the armrests on the doors. They are noticeable, but.....a lot cheaper than replacing the dash-pad. Might be good idea if the dash is in really bad shape, and you need to save $$. My 2c
