Dash Covers

Vette(s): 1979, Targa Blue (72 Color), Pace Car rear spoiler, L88 hood, Dark blue factory interior, 525HP 406, HD 700R4, 370 gears,Steeroids, composite rear spring, TT IIs wrapped in T/A Radials.
Anyone had any success or horror stories with these?

Vette(s): 1982 Black, ZZ4, Hooker Side Pipes, 3.55 Rear, Rebuilt & upgraded 700R4, All new suspension, brakes, & new Charcoal interior.
I heard several guys say they don't look good. I used the one that just covers the top of the dash. I sanded & dyed the rest of the dash, it came out great. It was a lot of work masking everything but it came out nice.
The top of mine was cracked real bad in spots so I put the cap on, looks good.

I'm not familiar with the specific vendor.  FWIW:  Corvette Enthusiast Magazine recently ran a how-to article on this project.  You might want to see if you can get a back issue.  Good advice in the article and good discussion of some specific problem areas to look out for.
