Is there a preferred brand? Whats you fav?

Is there a brand to stay away from.

Any critical suggestions is using these products other than typical

Rob,
I recently used the light saddle dye from Corvette America. It was my first time spraying with a true paint gun. It worked great. I used around 25-30 lbs of air pressure and did my steering column. It went on very easy and covered very well. I was impressed by how easy it was to use. No thinning needed, just poured it thru a screen into the gun and sprayed. They have many colors to choose from. If your thinking a medium saddle let me know. I have a bottle that has been hardly used I will give you.

Vette(s): White '79 Corvette. It's a driver.

Another plug for Corvette America dye here.

I used it from a spray can on the hard plastic trim that goes around the inside of the rear window on my '79. No regrets. As I recall, I put it on in a few light coats after cleaning up the part real good. It worked just fine.

Hey Rodney  I have a medium blue interior and I bought the dye in spray can for plastic and vinyl, I used in on the steering column but the finish was almost textured.  Can the dye be used on metal?  Does anyone know where to get paint to match the Corvette interior colors?

I used the dye from Corvette America, and yes it can be used on metal. I used it on the steering column and it came out perfect.

I sprayed my steering column and it turned out great. Mine was with a spray gun but I am sure the spray cans work as well.
