I think this is an easy one but I cant figure it out   how do you take the plastic handle off the e-brake? I believe I need to remove in order to re-install the new console.

Thoughts?

No need to remove the handle.
The "accordian" seal has a slit in it that allows you to slide the seal off of the handle. The plastic grab handle is practically made onto the chrome handle of the e-brake. The only time they really ever come off is when they're broke.
The handle will fit thru the opening in the console, and then you have to install the "seal" into the grooves in the console. It can be a little frustrating sometimes, but it will work out.
