I am finaly finished restoring my interior parts and putting her back together. (Cleaned and redyed everything) I ordered new front kick panels, the old ones had cracked. When I went to install the passenger side, there is a vacuum switch, or something in the way. The old one was cut out around it, I thought it was just busted when I removed it. Is this correct? Does the panel need to be altered, or does it go behind whatever this is. Thanks. |headscratch|

Sounds like you ordered kicks for a non-air car 68-72. Double check and see if you can exchange the passenger side. The driver's side was unchanged from 68-77.

Good Luck,

I forgot which restoration book I saw it in, but the "air" cars had the pass. side panel crudely cut at the factory. Mine looks like a 5 y/o kid did it (no offense meant to you 5 y/o's).
