Anyone have success getting the cap, emblem and retainer together? I suppose I could drill and put in a rivet but I was hoping something like JB weld or the like.

I just glued it with hot glue

I just used the 3M Trim Adhesive. Worked great.

Sometimes a "BFH" will work for any corvette related problem!!!

OK, here's an update. I couldn't find the glue gun so I started working on other small jobs on the car. Most of it became annoying so I started drinking. Reread this post and took Joel's advice and tried using the welder and now all I have left is a pile of ash...
