Yes it did make a difference. I got it at Lowes, in the insulation dept.

Don't forget the alum. tape.

I used the same stuff but got it at Home Depot. Used 3M 77 spray on adhesive to attach. It made a difference for sure on my vette.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Nice Coors Box need any help drinking it?  I understand they make excellent storage boxes when empty.

Thanks for the alternate source

It looks like bubble wrap with aluminum foil on both sides. Used to wrap duct work with. Its about 3/16 to 1/4" thick if  remember right

Vette(s): SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
Sold - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe
Don't forget to check the tunnel insulation above the transmission.  When I swapped out the clutch on "The Toy" that insulation came out in chunks.  Didn't have the time to wait for a replacement to arrive so put everything back together without it.  Wish now I had waited.  That insulation will get installed the next time the tranny is out of the car.

Bought a package of Dynamat from Summit Racing and put it in a couple of places in the interior of "BIGBRRD".  Kinda spendy for the amount of material received.  I'll be checking HD and/or L's before putting the carpeting back in.
