ok. it is called refletix insulation. I found it today in the insulation department at Lowes. You will need a good sharp utility knofe, a carpet knife works well. Also, 3m super adhesive iswhat I used to hold it in place. It is a spray on glue that allows some play time to fit the pieces. All I did was pre-cut everything, test fit the piece and the sprayed on the glue. Good luck.

I joined the Ecklers restoration club ($25) and saved 15% on the interior package (Delux Door panels, carpet, leather seat covers & T-top head liners). Pretty good savings. As said above, most items came from Corvette America. Colors matched and the quality was excellent.

Thanks StreetShark
Knowing the name I was able to find it at Lowes here. Looks like pretty cool stuff and a lot cheaper than the underlay in the catalogs.

Have you checked Corvette Central in Sawyerville MI? I used their interior on my 68, and also did a friends 76, and their prices are good as well. If you get to Bloomington Gold in St. Charles this June you get 10% off your order and don't pay Il. sales tax. Not that far from Chi-town, nice road trip to save shipping as well. Also, don"t do it if you go cheap and reuse you old seat foam, spend the extra 120 bucks and get new foam so the coves fit right, good luck-Flandy
Thanks, I intend to buy everything new and the best quality I can find but for the best price too. I plan on new foam, I know mine is shot (everything on the car is still original and while it's in great shape for a 29 year old car the carpets and seats are still 29 years old). It's time the baby got a little new love. I'll check Corvette Central tonight.
I used the molded upper dash cap for mine. I am very pleased with it considering the heaved alternative.
It won't pass the judges anywhere but it is a very good look for the $$$ and it covers the cracks and heaves in the original until you want to replace the entire dash pad.
I got mine from Penn Industries, the local guys that handle all the graphics supplies. Took about 2 weeks. You RTV it in place, set the car out in the sun on a warm day and cut down any protruding ridges prior to installation. Dob on (technical measurement
) the sealant in several places, then use phone books or other stuff you can wedge in between the cap and the windshield for several hours. I let mine set overnite and it has stayed for over a year just fine.

GOFAST,
Be sure to check the rear of your seat base for cracks. Its near where the back stops screw into. Also make sure the welds on the seat stop nuts are not cracking. This is common area for problems. I end up beefing up this area when I rebuilt my seats.
Good thinking - thanks come to think of it I have kind of jury rigged new rubber stops in the back made from hockey pucks to help the seats sit up better. That probably means I need more "reinforcment" back there (is that design for seat adjustment really supposed to work?)
THANKS
THANKS

The stops are for looks I think
. mine don't work all that great. The rubber covers on the stops don't last very long. Here is a shot of my seat base. I add a 1/8" thick rib to the bottom side and tied it in on each end.

What is Wilcox's web site? Always used Mid-America...
Thanks
