Has anyone taken on the task of repairing the mouldings.  My interior is pretty rough but I'm sure some of them could be easily repaired.  I didn't really find anything on the internet that pertained to them as they are not really vinyl or leather not sure what they call that type of moulding, seems like its almost a pressed paper or cork or something.  Anyways any suggestions would be helpful.

Which moldings are you referring to?
The windshield moldings, and the lower rear window moldings are padded, vinyl covered abs plastic. If they're cracked, or broken, you might be able to glue them back together, but if the vinyl is torn/cracked, that's a different story. This is a passenger side trim molding for the windshield.

yeah the pillar mouldings have chunks out of them so they will have to be replaced, more or less just wondering how to fix a small hole or build up a screw hole so they can be reused

You can fill in the screw holes from behind with an epoxy, or something similar, and then re-drill the holes. If the vinyl is damaged, there are a couple of products out there for dash/seat repairs that might work, but I don't know how well they look afterwards....never seen it done in person.  Thumbs Up

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
what I found when I tried to repair mine was the abs was so brittle that taking it off without damaging more was next to impossible.  I ended up replacing them.

I have use that or a similar patch kit the first issue is getting the color to match.  The second is getting the texture to match.  I was not any good at either.

I have done some repairs like this.

I used expanding foam for holes, trim it back after it has set,oh use masking tape as close to damage as possible.

I got a moulding medium .took a mould of grain.then pressed that in to top finish.

play about abit to get what you want when your happy with it,spray it to colour of your choice.

it's fiddly but can be done. have sharp hobby blades to hand.

hope this helps.
