Good job Normand!! I jst finished replacing the carpet in my CE over the winter. Where did you get it? You will most likely have to trim it, they cut it large. Get a can of 3M spray Adhesive, it is in a large white can. i paid $9 US for it here. One can did the seat rears, and heat barriwer. make sure you put heat barier inside, it will keep it cooler for you. Any other questions, let me know |wavey|

Douglas just make sure wherever you get it, it is Auto Custom Carpet (ACC) they make the best, unless you want to cut the whole thing yourself from regular carpet |eek| You might want to check out Dewitts. That's where I got mine and it was from ACC. he matched the best price I could find, had it shipped to me directly from ACC and was only about 4 days. The color is perfect, even for my Collector which is hard to match.

I am interested in any comments anyone could make about the quality of the carpet you have purchased. About 3 years ago I replaced all of my carpeting ,,,but I have not been very impressed with the quality . The installation was really no problem except for the seat backs and compartment lids and they were a pia . What I probably needed was a Debbie touch |biggrin| . To make a long story short my heater core sprung a slow leak and destroyed the carpeting on the passenger side floor. It irks the devil out of me as I only have driven the car about three hundred miles since installation . If any of you have a SMALL scrap of your new carpet could you mail it to me . I will be glad to pay for any postage etc. Color is not important I just feel there has to be something out there available better than my present carpet !!

Hi Chris,,, all I need is a small 2 inch square sample . Color is not important as I was just disappointed in the quality of the ones I installed. They were from midamerica I think ,,,just not sure anymore. I really do not mind paying more for something if it is good quality. I bought a set of mats and they were 10 times better made than my carpet. I figure if I could get some small pieces from other members it would be very helpful in choosing a vendor. Also it will provide everyone here with some valuable info .

George, look under my profile, get my email address, and email me your home address. I have some stuff left over from when I did the CE. It is ACC carpet. Send me your address and I'll get it out right away, OK?
