Went to take the Vette out today and I noticed a slice in the leather/vinyl bottom part of door panel. The seat belt did not retract all the way and caused this..There are repair kits but how do you match the color (red)?Has anyone ever used these kits??
Thanks

I would also be interested in some info along these lines.
I have all my original interior components and I would like to save them.
My door panels have cuts on the edges of the material and my dash has a crack on the passenger side about 3 inches long.

these parts really look good thats why I would like to save them!

please someone help us out! |biggrin|

The rip is gone.. I had it repaired by the Leather Medic
and he did an excellent repair and color match. They are mobile so they come to you.John this is a franchise. You probably have a Leather Medic in your state too.. |thumb|
