Hey there team,

(read this with the voice of Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh in the back of your head)

Ho hummSleepy.......still no motor in the baby. My brother's still working on it. his shop is finally starting to slow down and he's got some time to focus.

So just to keep my affection for the baby going, I took out the center gauge cluster and rebuilt the whole thing. Repaired the clock, had the oil pressure gauge recalibrated to read to 100 PSI, all new bulbs and sockets, and a nw printed circuit. Nice and bright. Hoooo....hummmmmSleepy.

Hoping to drive the baby before snow falls.......Sleepy

Paul

Paul,

I know how ya feel...............I took my motor out in November '05 & I didn't get the car rolling until August of 2007.

I did get the engine back by March of 2006, but I got bit by a case of "while I'm here" syndrom.

Hopefully you'll get her back on the road to break her in before the salt hits the road.

Good luck,

Anthony

Why is that the jobs that pay the bills always get done before the relative's or good friend's job????

Have you thought about paying your brother a premium to get it done sooner?

Patience, Grasshopper, patience. It is better to walk slowly, and know your path, than to run blindly, and find the cliff...

(Don't have a clue what that means...sometimes, I let my fingers do the walking...)

You'll have that thang up & running before ya know it, Paul!! In the mean-time, have some honey...

hey paul...was wondering about your engine and if you got it. it's always the way though, when you want something fast it always takes the longest to get.

it seems joel is auditioning for the remake of kung fu except he wants to change it to corvette fu.

don't feel too bad paul. i have two vettes and was vetteless last weekend for a while. both of them were down. 75 is back up and running and 90 is running but still have a few more things to iron out. i have to see if i can get some time and take a run up and let you drive the 75. it may help with the withdrawal you're going thru.
