There's a product out there that I would like to share with my fellow C3 er's.

It's called "Gliptone Leather Conditioner" and as far as i'm concerned, it is a great product just for the smell only.

It will make the interior of your Corvette smell like fresh new leather. I have used this stuff on my leather coats, boots and car interiors for several years now and at one point I got a great compliment.

I was sitting in church one Sunday wearing my favorite leather coat and after the service was over the nice looking lady sitting next to me ask about my coat. She said she "loved" the leather smell.......  and that it seemed to smell so "male"Wink......Don't think it. My wife was sitting right there next to me on the other side.

Just may help a little with the old testosterone levels tooTongue

Check it out.... WWW.GLIPTONE.COM .........Rich

Which one, the conditioner or the cleaner?

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

Dwain....Use both.

You will be suprised how much the cleaner will clean you're supposedly clean leather.

This stuff will seem a little strong when you apply it but I will guarantee that you will think you just installed brand-new high quality leather.

Micki...

I was just trying to get everyones attention to a great product. We all know that LADIES like the great smell (aroma) of leather too.

I live about an hour from Kansas City which has a great leather cleaner and restoration place.  They are so good that expensive leathers from movie stars are shipped to their store for repair, cleaning, and restoration. This gliptone product is what they use in their processes.

I have used the product since I got my Vette. Gliptone always has a booth at Carlisle in August. That's where I bought mine, on sale.
I like some of their other products as well.
I bought a bunch of their micro towels and their spray and shine, the pink stuff, last August.

Perfect timing Jay, thanks. I was looking at my new leather steering wheel today and it really needs some conditioning, looking pretty bad for only being 5 months old.  Thanks for the link. cilrah2007-04-20 20:58:30

I've got to try that stuff. Tongue I took my seat covers off and noticed that some of the black dye was comin' off in places (normal wear). Cry I believe the seat covers helped with that contributionAngry........hell, I have to learn the hard way. Dead  Now I'm mad at myself.  Is there a leather dye?  The seats are still good, not coming apart, padding good. Thumbs%20Up  Put some of that Pledge on them and that helped ALOT. Big%20smile Well, that's my story, I'm Walter Conkrite and you are there...LOLLOL
