Ok...everyone I am in need of some serious help with the horn button assembly and the components. The previous owner had it all apart and I have the original parts. Does anyone have a schematic or good diagram with instructions on how to put this thing back together
? I would greatly appreciate any and all help from you guys!!!!
Thank you!

Jim, will you be able to email me the information on how to put back together my horn button assembly? Sorry Joel, I had previously viewed that link you posted and it really did not help me too much. It appears that diagram is a different from what I have. Again, this project is driving me nuts so any further help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Does you car have tilt/tele? I think the '77 non-tilters were a bit different, but not sure what. Anyone got a '77 service manual that can help? anyone? anyone? Bueller?

Make sure you disconnect your battery before you go poking around in there as well. I had a problem once where my horn would just go off as I was driving down the road, so I just started taking it apart and got a nice jolt when I touched something in there. I like to learn the hard way!

Jim, No I did not get your email for some reason, I just checked. Try sending it to: fowler4619@sbcglobal.net. I recently switched to an new internet provider with a different email address at fowler4619@bex.net but that should not have made a difference. Thanks again and hopefully I get your email!

Matthew,
I just sent you an email with the full view of a 77 steering column from the assembly manual. The one in the service manual was kinda small and hard to read. Hope this helps
