We'll have nice, new, comfy seats and new carpet for the trip to Carson City.
Just ordered both. We're getting 82 seats but will keep the originals just in case!!! The down side is, as soon as I get the nice new carpet and seats, I'm gonna want the rest of the interior fixed!!! It's only money......Then there's new paint.....

You'll love the difference in comfort.
I've driven my friends 73 for three hours straight and i've driven mine for three hours straight. He's got a beautiful yaller roadster and it's "big time fun" but,..........my old butt
ouch !!!

I'll take my 78/w 79 seats.
Where did you find the seats? I've been looking but no luck in OR or WA.

Sounds good Karen. Just in case you are new to
this...the improvement projects never stop. You will always find
something to change. That's part of the fun in owning a classic. Keep
havin' fun!

Todd, we didn't actually "find" the seats. Went to GM Toys and he ordered them and will install them. We'll pay a lot more doing it this way but it least I know it will be done before we leave!!!

The car's a 20 footer in terms of paint. When you look up close, there are a lot of spots that have been touched up (and not real well at that) and a lot of spots that need touching up. It is fairly shiny still.
The original interior of the car was smoke. We're changing it to grey (very slightly darker.)

Well, I think it looks good.
Heck, my paint has touch up spots and spots that need touching up too. I just don't really want to get a paint job until the engine needs to be rebuilt.......that could be a long wait....hopefully.
At least it keeps me from getting upset when I get another rock chip.............she's a driver.

Your carpet color will look awesome! Ya' got to post some pics!
Got to see the seats too!
