In cars with PW there's one tab which is spot welded which holds the PW motor in place. The window torques against this when going up / down. This weld fatigues and breaks off and causes a MAJOR rattle. I had mine pulled apart and Greg welded the piece (found at the bottom of the door clanking around).

The glass adjustment is straightforward, albeit time consuming. Consult the AIM for details (I don't remember them, it's been 2 years!) There's adjustment for up/ down stop, front / aft location, tilt in /out at the top and the rotation (angle to match the windshield pillar post). You need to tweak them in a specified sequence because one affects the next and so on. Or you'll go in circles for hours (don't ask me how I know that!). |haha|

I recently took my door panels and handles off to clean up, repaint the inner trim black again, and put new emblems on the handles. That's all I had time for, but I plan to fix them up better when I get a chance. I have a rattle in my drivers door when I open and close it too. It would be nice to fix that up.
