Is the material that the parking brake console made out of identical to the forward (large) console and is it covered with vinyl like large console or is it just molded plastic like they are selling as repros?

On the early C3's the shifter console (original) was vinyl covered, but I can't speak for the later c3's. The brake console is the hard plastic. You can order vinyl shift covers, but they run higher.

My 75's brake console is just plastic, not upholstered like the shift console. I did get a padded arm rest for the e-brake console that makes a nice improvement to the comfort of the interior.

You all are great! Finally something in the interior I do not need to replace or repair! |smile|
