There is a Plastic Cleaner that I got at Wall*Mart. I think "Mothers" is who makes it.....can't remember (I have CRS). I used it to clean my plastic lenses on the gages. It worked good. Now, I don't know how well it would work on a "yellowed" plastic lense, but you can try it. Hope this helps.

Sorry Don I'm lazy, I spent like two years collecting all the OEM parts needed (including lenses) to rebuild my entire shift console and gague cluster. I found them all on eBay.

You can try Mother's Plastic Polish but I don't know if anything will fix yellowed lenses.

Toothpaste. Anything like that with a very mild grit to it. Then soap and water.

Sorry, but the yellow is probably from age. I'd be surprised if you could do anything with it other than replace it.

The shop that repairs our radios, etc, buffs yellowed plastic, and they often clean up pretty well. The yellowing is often on the surface.

Dome light lenses are so cheap to purchase, it doesn't make much sense trying to get the yellow off. Sometimes, as Larry says, the yellowing is just on the surface, especially if the owner was a smoker 
. That junk can be cleaned to a certain extent, but new lenses are cheap enough it's better to just get a new one, imho.

A great plastic cleaner called Plexus works pretty good. (Expensive, found on ebay) I use pledge on clear gauge plastic. I t hides any scratches and make it look new.
Once you get in a Vette it get's in you.
