Best of the season to you all. santa smiley

I have decided to rebuild my radio, now that I have had the new dash pad, firewall sound proofing, console etc and radio back in for the summer Confused  (second time around should be easier, right?) My question is after looking through the threads here about rebuilding radios it looks like www.turnswitch.com does what I am looking for, upgrade the radio performance, add ipod and mp3 ability while maintaining original appearance. Any comments reguarding this are appreciated. Thank you, Eric...

lingua3 smileyYup, it got cold here North of the border, time to do the shop stuff and start the countdown to spring...Smile  Bend in 2 10 Clap

You can always call Doctor Don http://www.doctordons.com/index.html for a price as well. Have no personal experience with them but do know a Vette guy who has used them more than once.

It looks like the guy you found does a great job too. Keep us posted -

i had mine rebuilt about 2 years ago and it works great.I would do it all over again. Thereare many places out there that do it. I think the cost was around $400. make sure you ask about the plug infor the MP3 or any auxiliary hookup. If I remember correctly that was extra. Dont rememberwho did it but I could look it up if you wanted. Good Luck

We use S & M Electrotech, in Blaine MN. Call Greg at 763-780-2861.  He does the same thing and his quality is outstanding.

Thanks for all your input, confidence comes with good support. Larry, it seems that S & M Electrotech and turnswitch are one and the same, so my radio will be coming out this afternoon, into a box and off to visit Blaine Minnesoda. I look forward its return already, hhmmmm then I have to put it back in, but spring will be much closer, so all is good.Smile
See you in Bend, in 2 10...
