Wondering if this has been experienced by anyone else. I had a new set of speakers installed at a high end audio shop. The stereo sounds great on all speakers except for the rear driver.
It is much lower than rear passenger; however, if I remove it from the corner of the car, it immediately gets to the same volume as the passenger side.
It isn't touching anything that I can see. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Have you asked the shop that installed em what they think?
Thats the beauty of having someone else do work like that.
If it aint right you can tell em, "IT AINT RIGHT!"
Have you checked the wire into the speaker to see if when you move it the connection gets better?

I agree, if it's a high end shop they should take care of it, no questions asked.

I just wanted to throw this idea out there;
The power antenna motor is closest to the driver's side rear speaker.
Could that cause interference?
Just a thought...

Maybe while it was running, but once it's up it turns off.

Actually, I used the custom autosound corvette cassette deck for esthetic reasons and the high end stereo shop pointed that out that I should not expect a great sounding stereo with the older unit. So there's not much I can do there.
I pulled the power antannae as it was bad and installed a stainless steel retractable antannae.
The stereo does not sound bad, it is not as loud as the passenger speaker when the speaker is tucked away like it is supposed to be, but if you pull it out of the corner, it is as loud as the passenger.
That is what is up!
Thanks for your help
