Cool limo Joel! Do you remember the '78 Pace Car limo? I saw it in a movie once, just can't remember the name.
Hey Tux, how is the fit and seal on the astro top?
Overall I like my Astro top. I have read about several people who didn't for various reasons. It depands on what your looking for. I purchased it becuse I grew used to this style in from previous C4's. I liked handling 1 piece during installation and I wanted to see the world above me.

I have the orginal T's but I have never used them since the car and the T's were painted. They are in the top bags in my basement.

Pros:
A. Nice look with 1 piece smoked glass.
B. Stores easily in the back.
C. Room for luggage under the top when stored.
D. More head room.
E. Nice to see the world above.
F. Easy to install.
G. Inexpensive compared to new glass tops.

Cons:
A. Hard to seal above windshield from water.
B. Air gap above windows if rubber seal loses original shape.
C. Not OEM.
E. Can scratch easily if not cared for properly.

If it rains hard or steady mine will leak above the visors some. (Just enough to be annoying.) I don't think the mounting brakets adequately can pull down the top in those areas. I could build the gasket up some but it isn't that important to me. If I am in the rain it is purely by accident and the car is garaged most of the time. I hope that helps. If you have additional questions just ask.
I think maybe THIS is what you're looking for if you need a bit more room for your legs and noggin. I've heard it works really well for that problem.
If it were me and I had the cash, I would go with a custom seat bolted to the floor. Forget the adjustments. All the way back and down is what you need, so get what fits you.
