Hi. I just received replacement panels from Corvette America and will be sending them back tomorrow, absolute garbage. The t-tops are 2 different shades of dark blue and the door panels have what looks like water stains on them. Can anyone recommend a quality vendor? My car is a 68 with dark blue interior.
Thanks
Dean

That's surprising to me. I purchased door panels from them that were absolutely gorgeous. I had already installed a complete new interior with leather seats and dash, new rugs and dyed trim work. The door panels were great. It really sucks when you order your parts, look forward to them arriving then seeing them in that poor of shape or get the wrong part. Have you spoken to anyone over there? What if anything are they willing to do to rectify this problem?

'68 interior(as well as the rest of the car) has a lot of one-year-only components....including the door panels. Lot's of vendors don't stock a lot of them because they don't sell that many.
Definitely contact them before simply retuning the stuff...they need to approve the return. It also gives them a chance to make it right. If I am not mistaken, CA sells Wilcox interior components, and may also make their own stuff.
Sure am glad mine has an all black interior.....

Last year I ordered dash pad and defrost grill. Ordered both at the same time. Opening in pad was too small for grill insert. I call them and they gave me the "I could do this or that speech"! I told them...they did not understand what I was saying...opening was way too SMALL. They had me ship the items back...at not charge and they corrected problem and returned. Now I am happy. LOL Pad too $$$$ for me to have to try and alter opening and re-glue cover...(G) They did correct everything at no additional expense.
Corvette America never again(I was told they were the best wrong answer. Call paragon Al Knock is the supplier of their door panels and seats. You can buy them for less from Paragon then direct from Al Knock and they are less than Crap America. the first set of door panels were torn. They were suppose to replace them but they repaired them instead. The second set was dry rotted it ripped trying to cut in the hole for door handle and arm rest. I have to use the third set because I have a show and Al knock was three weeks out for production. Now for the seats I ordered them in January 2013 and installed them in April of 2013. I don't even have 500 miles on the drivers seat and maybe 100 miles on passenger seat. Look at the spot where the clip is. That is passengers seat where the back part of the bottom meets the back. That isn't even the part you sit on. I bought the leather/vinyl like original and the red is peeling off the backing. I brought it to my local upholstery guy and he said leather doesn't have a backing like vinyl. So it isn't real leather. Crap America told me it was past 90 days to S**t in my hat. The center console I ordered from them is suppose to be molded from a red material and should be solid red. The one they sent me was black on the bottom and was dyed(sprayed) red on top. The rear halos had to many holes in them to mount and the center T above was twice the thickness of the original. So you be the judge where you want to buy your interior. I would give you mine from Crap America but I couldn't do that to my worse enemy. Google Corvette America interiors on the corvette forums and read the horror stories!!!!
