bought seats from an 86 vette for my 75 a few months ago and finally getting started to install them. used the seat tracks from the 75 and mounted steel across the front and back and will mount the seat to that. as far as i can tell it seems like it will be an easy installation.

i set the seat in place and to me it looks a lot better than the original seats. they are the same type as the ones in my 90 and they are more comfortable than the 75 originals. will snap a few pics when i get them done.Big%20smile

I would think that they will be a major improvement.

You will definitely appreciate them on a long ride.

I'm having problems with the drivers seat track in my car...it will not stay forward.  I think the teeth are messed up on the track.  I was thinking of swaping the drivers track with the passenger side track.  Does anyone know if that will work or not?  I'm assuming the passengers seat is adjustable....never checked.

On my '82 the passenger seat is a manual adjustment. The lever is under the seat so you reach between your legs and pull the lever forward to release the latch.
My driver seat is six-way power, so no exchanging for me.

no they are not electric. really no need for electric. drivers seat in 90 is but once it is set i never changed it.

got the passenger seat installed and it looks and fits great. it looks like it was made for the car. even looking in the back window it looks better than the original. will be getting the drivers side in by this weekend.

they will most likely be more comfortable on any length trip even around town as they have the bolsters that fit against you. i know when i ride in my 90 i can feel the support in my back and it is a lot different than the 75 seats.
