I went for a drive in the country with missus
and she complained that the top part of the seat was angled too far back and was uncomfortable.

Is there an adjustment that can be done to make it come forward (less angle backwards)

Hey Andy,
As far as I know, there is no adjustment for that.
For the first few months after I got mine I was always trying to lean forward a bit. My lower back let me know it!
Finally, I learned to sit back and enjoy the ride.
It's possible one of the members here can shed more light on this.

Andy, I have a quick and eay fix for you! Pull the seat ( you need a LONG extension for the rear bolts ). Put 2 3/8inch thick washers under the back of the tracks ( I hold them in place with putty ) and bolt the seat back. You can add or subtract washers to your likeing ( I don't think this is a real word ). The only downside is to put the seat back you have to remove the washers. I did it and my wife loves it! (I do too).

Actually, I did try the "add a washer" trick to my 79....after about an inch worth of washers, I decided it was unsafe to have the seat runners that high...I started to bang my head getting in and out...
For a quick fix until I find something better, I rolled up a towel and set it behind the seat back just behind the hinges....I can adjust the pitch forward by refolding the towel either thicker or thinner....
I know it sounds getto, but it does work for me...
