Topic: Seat Belt Cover Help
in Forum: C3 Interior
Can anyone give me a clue as how you get the seat belt loose so you can remove the seat belt cover on a 72. I would think that the belt would simple slip through the seat back and retract to the point where its through the cover and then the side quarter could be removed. Of course on my 72 the seat belt cover is screwed to the side quarter trim panel and will come off seperately, but that still doesn't solve the puzzle of how the belt gets released through the front seat so I can remove the cover.
Help an idiot

Well thats what I thought. Seemed too simple. I did Remove the plate on the back, but I still couldn't get the belt to slip through. I don't want to damage the seat or belt. My belt has a over on the buckle in that seems to be preventing it from slipping through. Do I have to remove the cover. or does it need to be slid up and slipped throught the seat first followed by the buckle portion.
