hello    I need to replace left side seat belt,it does retrack  fully .    where I we using for supply house       1979  corvette    silver color    there are many supply house,s   many to select from              what are we using for seat belts    thank  you for any help        dwa

Vette(s): 1973 L82 4 Speed Coupe - Very original, well documented driver/survivor. 2016 Bend Regional NCRS Top Flight.
Dwa - other than finding a decent one in a Corvette bone yard, ZIP Corvette handles some replacement options for your '79. They offer replacement belts for around $200 and reproduction belts for around $250. I don't know of anyone who sells new single components, looks like you have to by a complete set. Check them out at zip-corvette.com, good luck !!

If you plan to drive the car, the 35+ year old seat belts should be replaced anyway.

Vette(s): '73 L48 Coupe, 383, M20, A/C, Electric Windows. Matterhorn White Jet-Glo w/ Dark Blue interior. Rochester, Edelbrock, Blackjack Ceramics, Borlas w/ 2.5" mandrel X over, Cooper Cobras on both OEM Steel and Aluminum Wheels.
These people restore them.
 
 
Just don't be in a hurry to get it back.
