Go to Willcox. Purchase already covered. They have the best price of all the distributors, and they all buy from the same manufacturing houses.
I would guess that we are sitting on seats made in some foreign country.

Try getting a couple of quotes from local upholsterors/motor trimmers, and see what they can offer.I had mine supplied and fitted for about half the price of a set of covers out of a catalog. He also added extra padding and made a console cushion out of the left over leather

Vette(s): 1976 Brown with Buckskin Interior. I bought her on 9/15/03 and just received it on OCT 1st 2003!! It needs interior work, and some things under the hood, but I am so excited! Just waiting for Summer of 2004 to totally show it off.
local shops are charging way too much! I will be ordering from WILCOX!! When you order carpet, door panels and seat cover, everything else you order is 5% off and his prices are pretty darn good to start out with!!
