Vette(s): 69 Conv #'s match 427, TKO-600/.64, 3.36HD-Posi, HT, T/T, PS, PB, PW, SP, Leather, Comp XE264HR & Roller Rockers & Lifters, Air-Gap RPM intake, Holley St Av 770 VS, MSD 6AL+Dist+Blaster SS, K&N, Jet-Hot Hooker Side-Pipes, Steeroids, Al Rad, Spal Fans
There seems to be a huge disparity between seat cover pricing.

I'm looking for black leather for a 69. Im obviously not going for ncrs but want decent quality seat covers.

All seem to claim OEM style

Wilcox 479
Ecklers 519
CC for 599
Vette specialties for 699
Corvette America 699
Paragon for 715
mid America for 950

WTF? Any comments or experiences that might help me here ? Also.

The seats I am rehabbing used to be blue so I have to replace my headrest covers and foam.
I know the originals were plastic... I know a few sites offer leather covers to match the seats Has any done this ? Does it look better ?

I was at MidAmerica Vet fest in 2009 and I got leather seats for my vet (4-2seats and 2 backs) and I paid $499 for them.  But I must admit that I lucked out and found them in the area that sells returned stuff.  The prices you quote seem to be fair to me!!

A bunch of us have been to corvette America and can say that the seat covers they offer are all hand made there in the plant..they do use a machine to cut out the leather but all the rest is done by hand by the few people that work there..they even make their own foam too..the quality looks great and the people there care what they do..if I needed seat covers they would be top of my list..paragon offers them too and usually have original stuff but don't know if they make it or is farmed out..those would be my choices.

I got mine from Wilcox, they are the leather-like. Look great after 7 years and they were the best price I could find. I would use them again.

I also got mine at Wilcox. I had them special made. I'm using the later 78 on up style seats. Had them made with the larger bolsters. They had them made with my 74 interior bright silver  leather. They were great and worked with me all the way. Make sure that you get the forum price. Here is an even better deal for you that Wilcox just sent me...........
