Does any of you know where I can find the design plans for a 1970 bottom seat frame?  The sides are not sysmetrical.  One side has a typical "U" shape to cross-section but the other side has the inner leg of the channel bent in about 45 degrees.  Is this intentional from the factory or is it bent inward due to weight on the bottom for 35 years.  I have looked at five different seat bottoms and they all seem the same.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does the 45 deg. angle appear to be machine stamped, and uniform along the run? Or is it just kinda 'mangled'?
I seem to remember seeing the same thing on a few seat frames, myself.
Is the side with the 'bend' on the same side as the adjustment lever?

Yes Joel, the bend seems to be formed and it is on the side with the slide lever.  That makes sense now, thanks for bringing the slide handle to my attention.
