I was wondering if it is possible to easily swap out a different year seat in my 76? I like the 80's on for their style and comfort. I am willing to do what is nessesary to make the fit (within reason of course).I plan to go on the Hot Rod Power tour again next year and would like a more comfortable seat.

I have a set from an 86 which would need to be recovered. Left side has electric but I have no idea if it works. Come and get them and they are yours.

Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary Edition Paint, L-48, Matching numbers, 350 c.i, 625cfm Demon Carb, Weiand Stealth intake, 268 Custom Ground Cam, 10:1 heads, Jet Hot Hooker Headers, 3:73 rear end.
Are thse seat out of the 86 still avaiable? My 78 has a set of 79 seats in it but with a bad back they are not a very comfortable seat. I would like to upgrade but want to stay with a Corvette seat. If Phil doesn't want them I would love to pay for shipping.
Hey Silverbullet. Go ahead and take them. I have a old hawaian disease right now called Lakamoney. It prevents me from doing certain things I used to do. It hopefully will go away soon so I may regain the use of my wrenches. My condition can be fixed by the Hawaian cure of OhIgotahitthelotto.

OK silverbullett they are yours. Before I get the shipping estimate, please send me your email address so I can send you a picture of them. They are way less than beautiful and will have to be recovered at a minimum. I do not know it the left electric seat motor is working. Once you see them if you still want them I will get the shipping estimate.

I had the idea of changing the seats in my 72, after looking at all the after market seats I couldn't find a set that had the right demensions, in all the cases the seat back was to high for my taste, I looked at an early C-4 the demensions were almost the exact same, the nice part is that you sit in the C-4 seat not on top like the C-3 seat, another plus is that the cushons come out of the frames which will make them easy to mount in the stock location. Anyone else have a set of early C-4 seats they want to get rid of 84-93anips 38601.8715277778
Hey anips, Look on ebay motors, parts #7998158975 and # 7997935959 They are seats in various forms of intactness. Also search ebay for 84 on seats. There are covers, seats, foam and parts for good to typically high prices.

Thanks Phil,
I hope that disease is more like a short term virus. Thanks for the opportunity.
