Hey I put the seats in last night. They look good and are very comfortable. I took the slide brackets off another pair of seats, drilled new holes in the seat bottoms and mounted the brackets. All I need to do now is raise the front of each seat a quarter of an inch, so they can be adjusted easier. I look forward to having them recovered. I'll be using seat covers until then. Thank you OH6A!

I am happy that you got what you were after.  Agree that seat covers are in order; they are not beautiful.

Hey Anips,

Do you want to get rid of the 72 seats? I might be interested if they have the design bar in the top half. I have a 75 but like the look of the bumper car seats. Since I only drive 750 mi a year in mine the confort isn't what I am after. Can you tell me the condition and the colr as well?

Hey Anips,

I had to use the brackets from the  C-3. The C-4 brackets were too tall and the mounting bolt holes were way. I drilled holes in the bottom of the seats added six large washers as spacers in the front and four in the back. If you dont do this you will not be able to adjust your seats. The seat belts work fine and the seats are very comfortable. The way the seat is built, you do sit higher or at least a different angle. For me the view is better, more comfort and a better seat.

Sorry Larry, NFS, the interior has been restored with Deluxe and leather, saw a pair at a swap several weeks ago in tan leather, going back in a week the person might still have em, I'll check.

Silverbullit,

Do you still have the 79 seats?  I might be interested in them if you do.

I do have the 79 seats. They will need some work. Originally I bought the seats for the hinges. These seats were in a junkyard for 2yrs in a totalled 79. I cleaned them up put seat covers on them and bolted them in with plans t re-build them. If you want them I can e-mail pics. If you like what you see, you pay for shipping and they are yours.

Wow!! Lots of good deals going on here. Another great reason to love this place. The late C3 seats would be great to have in an early shark like mine. I have thought about this one several times just never pulled the trigger on it.

Eddie 70,

If Contrails doesn't want them in the next few days then you can have them. Also, you have a great car!! The body looks fantastic.
